Dubsado AI in 2026: what it does, and what it leaves to you
Dubsado's AI helps you build forms and remember meetings. Replying to clients is still your job.
Dubsado lists three AI features: a form generator that builds forms, contracts and questionnaires from a description or a PDF, a Notetaker that records, transcribes and summarises video calls, and AI summaries of email threads. We didn’t find AI that replies to clients, or any phone system, on Dubsado’s own pages. Here’s what each feature does, checked 22 October 2026, and when Dubsado or Allio is the better fit.

What Dubsado’s AI is built for
Dubsado is known for detailed forms, proposals and workflows, and its AI fits that: it speeds up building forms and keeps a record of your consultations. It helps you set up and remember. It doesn’t talk to clients for you.
Allio’s AI is built to answer the enquiries that come in by text, Instagram, Facebook and phone while you’re busy, and to book the session.

Where the phone fits
Dubsado’s client communication is email, through the email account you connect, such as Gmail or Outlook. We found no business phone line or texting on its feature lists, so calls and texts happen outside Dubsado.
In Allio, calls, texts, email, Instagram and Facebook messages land in one inbox on the client’s record. The AI receptionist can answer the studio number after hours or while you’re shooting, and save the call, transcript and summary. Calls can be recorded once you’ve set up the notices your callers’ locations require.
Where Dubsado’s AI genuinely wins
Turning old PDFs into forms. If your questionnaires and contracts live in PDFs, uploading one and getting a working form back is a real time saver.
Video consultations. If you run consultations on Zoom or Google Meet, the Notetaker records, transcribes and summarises them, and can join scheduler bookings automatically.
Customisation. Dubsado’s forms and workflows are famously flexible, and the AI makes the first draft faster.
Which one you should pick
Choose Dubsado if
you work mostly by email, consult over video, want detailed custom forms, and are happy to reply to every enquiry and call yourself.
Choose Allio if
enquiries arrive by text, Instagram, Facebook and phone, you miss some while you’re shooting, and you want AI that answers and books, with you approving each reply until you trust it.

Does Dubsado have AI?
Yes. Dubsado lists a form generator, a meeting recorder called Notetaker, and AI summaries of email threads.
What does Dubsado's Notetaker do?
It joins video calls on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and others, records them, and gives you a transcript and a summary with next steps. Dubsado says in-person meetings aren’t supported yet.
Can Dubsado AI build forms?
Yes. Its Easy Form Creation Tool builds forms, contracts, questionnaires and proposals from a description or a PDF, in Dubsado 3.0.
Does Dubsado AI reply to clients?
We didn’t find AI that replies to clients on Dubsado’s pages, checked 22 October 2026.
Does Dubsado have a phone system?
